    Too much pressure on a small team
    No gratitude towards any employee that’s below an assistant manager.
    Deputy managers are paid and treated like glorified store assistants but still held responsible for entire shifts. Also, as a deputy manager running a shift, you will not receive ANY management pay if there is an assistant manager or store manager in the store as well. Even if they spend their shift in the office doing admin jobs.
